Tucson Lindy Hop holds a swing dance with a live
band on the fourth Saturday of each month at the Armory Park
Ballroom, 220 South Fifth Ave in Tucson.
There is a
beginner lesson at 7:00 pm and the band starts at 8:00 pm.
There is also a swing dance event in Tucson called "520 Swing" on the third saturday of each month at a dance studio on 6th Street just east of Tucson Boulevard. Visit facebook.com and enter "520 swing" into the search box to reach the facebook group for this dance, for more information.

"Lindy Hop" refers to the original style of
swing dancing which began as swing music became popular in the
1930's and 40's. Since that time many other styles of swing
dancing have gathered a following. These include East Coast
Swing, West Coast Swing, and Balboa. Generally there are some
people doing all of these different styles of swing dancing at the
Armory Park Dances.
